NEPRA Will hold a final hearing on the July-September adjustment request

Electricity consumers across the country are expected to face another shock of inflation under the price adjustment of up to Rs 1.70 per unit.
An additional burden of 22 billion 56 crore rupees has been requested from electricity consumers. A request has been made for recovery of Rs 12 billion 12 crore 60 lakhs towards capacity charges. There will be a final hearing on this and it will be decided whether electricity will be expensive or not.
10 billion 24 crore 70 lakh rupees will be collected under the use of system charges. Permission has been sought to collect 4 billion 61 crore 70 lakhs for operation and maintenance. 6 billion 61 crore 70 lakh rupees of damages will be recovered from consumers.
